Day 1: Arrive in Vietnam (-/-/-)

The afternoon is dedicated to the discovery of the city’s Old Quarters on foot. When evening comes, enjoy dinner at one of Hanoi’s best tables. Day 3: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (B/L/D)

Leaving Hanoi by road for Ha Long Bay, enjoy the journey en route as the car weaves through the picturesque countryside landscapes. Arrive in Ha Long and board your private, traditional junk boat that cruises among the unspoilt limestone islets of Ha Long Bay. After the sun sets, enjoy a romantic dinner in a private setting on the boat’s deck before retiring to your cabin for a good night’s sleep.

Day 4: Ha Long Bay – Noi Bai Airport – Danang – Hoi An (B/L/-)

As your boat cruises back to Ha Long City through the spectacular karsts and limestone rock formations, have a leisurely morning before enjoying brunch on board. Your driver will meet you upon disembarkation for the transfer to Noi Bai Airport and your flight to Danang. En route visit Thanh Chuong Palace, the home and studio of one of Vietnam’s most celebrated artists. Grab lunch before flying to Danang and transferring to Hoi An.

Day 5: Hoi An (B/L/-)

After breakfast, explore Hoi An by walking through the quaint streets of this heritage town, which remains much the same as it was in its heyday 200 years ago. Visiting the Japanese Covered Bridge and Quan Cong Temple, then after is a delicious lunch, the afternoon is free for you to relax with the car and guide at your disposal. Browse for souvenirs in the eclectic array of art galleries and silk shops, enjoy a cup of coffee at a local cafe or cycle to the nearby Cua Dai Beach.

Day 6: My Son Tour. Transfer to Hue by Marble Mountains. (B/L)

Travel on rural roads to My Son (55km) to explore the architectural treasure and sculptures of Cham dating from the 7th to the 13th century. My Son still remains 20 of the original 70 structures intact.

After that your private car will transfer to Hue (140km), widely known for its magnificent monuments built under the Nguyen Dynasty (1802-1945). On the way to Hue, stop over at Hai Van Pass Arrival in Hue, check in hotel and free time.

Day 7: Hue City Tour (B/L)

A day tour of Hue to visit Thien Mu Pagoda and the tomb of Minh Mang. After lunch, visit the tombs of King Tu Duc and King Khai Dinh.
In the evening, take a boat on the Perfume River to enjoy a folk show.

Day 8: Hue – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L/-)

After breakfast, depart for the dynamic Ho Chi Minh City on a short flight. At Saigon, you will be taken on an orientation tour of the city in a classic Citroen car, cruising past highlights such as the Presidential Palace, War Remnants Museum, the colonial Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post Office. The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure to discover this bustling city at your own pace.

Day 9: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta (B/L/D)

Today, leave the bustle of the city behind for a day of exploring scenic rice fields, waterways and colorful markets of the Mekong Delta. Cruise along the Mekong tributaries to Cai Be Floating Market and visit cottage industries that make ‘pop’ rice, rice paper and coconut candies. Cruise deeper to Dong Hoa Hiep Island and discover the rural lifestyles and daily activities of the delta inhabitants. Return to Ho Chi Minh City late this afternoon.

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City Tour (B/L)

You will have a chance for a fabulous excursion to the Cu Chi Tunnels where you will be fascinated by the tunnels and stories of life in the jungle. Visit a local rescue center for animals and learn about efforts to protect Vietnam’s rare wildlife. Returning to the city, you’ll zip through town by local trucks, visit hidden markets, join the locals as they light incense at the temples and enjoy a delicious barbeque dinner.
