Day 1 – Hanoi – Arrival
Upon arrival in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, our guide and driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. Overnight hotel stay in Hanoi.
Day 2 – Hanoi (B/L)
The day commences with an insider’s tour of Hanoi. Take a walking tour with a specialist guide who will offer his in-depth knowledge to enhance your visit to Long Bien Bridge. The afternoon is dedicated to the discovery of the city’s Old Quarters on foot. When evening comes, enjoy dinner at one of Hanoi’s best tables. Enjoy the sunset from West Lake and one of the city’s oldest Buddhist pagodas, Tran Quoc, as well as the nearby Taoist temple of Quan Thanh. Overnight hotel stay in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (B/L/D)
Depart to Halong Bay, enjoy the journey en route as the car weaves through the picturesque countryside landscapes. Arrive in Ha Long and board your private, traditional junk boat that cruises through the unspoilt limestone islets of Ha Long Bay. After the sun sets, enjoy a romantic dinner in a private setting on the boat’s deck before retiring to your cabin for a good night’s sleep. Overnight cruise on Dragon Pearl Cruise in Halong Bay.
Day 4: Ha Long Bay – Noi Bai Airport – Danang – Hoi An (B/L/-)
Breakfast on board, then cruise back to the pier, along the way, enjoy the spectacular karsts and limestone rock formations, have a leisurely morning before enjoying brunch on board. Your driver will meet you upon disembarkation to transfer to Noi Bai Airport and your flight to Danang. En route visit Thanh Chuong Palace, the home and studio of one of Vietnam’s most celebrated artists. Grab lunch before flying to Danang and transferring to Hoi An. Overnight hotel stay in Hoi An.
Day 5: Hoi An (B/L/-)
After breakfast, take a walking tour to explore Hoi An through the quaint streets of this heritage town, which remains much the same as it was in its heyday 200 years ago. Visit the Japanese Covered Bridge along with Quan Cong Temple. After a delicious lunch, the afternoon is free for you to relax with the car and guide at your disposal. Browse for souvenirs in the eclectic array of art galleries and silk shops, enjoy a cup of coffee at a local cafe or cycle to the nearby Cua Dai Beach. Overnight hotel stay in Hoi An.
Day 6: My Son Tour. Transfer to Hue by Marble Mountains. Overnight: Hue. (B/L)
Travel on rural roads to My Son (55km), where you explore the architectural treasure and sculptures of Cham dating from the 7th to the 13th century. After your private car transfers to Hue (140km), seen is the magnificent monuments, widely known and built under the Nguyen Dynasty (1802 – 1945). On the way to Hue, stop over at Hai Van pass for arrival in Hue, check-in hotel for free time. Overnight hotel stay in Hue.
Day 7: Hue City Tour (B/L)
After breakfast, visit the Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. After exploring the ruins of this wonderful monument, take a cyclo through the ‘Old City’ to Tinh Tam Lake where the Emperors used to come for relaxation. Enjoy lunch in Hue at one of the city’s most renowned restaurants, after, visit Khai Dinh’s Tomb which is traditional Vietnamese in design with a European touch making it unique from the other tombs in Hue. Overnight hotel stay in Hue.
Day 8: Hue – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L/-)
Check out and transfer to airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City, arrive and check-in at hotel, short rest, then to visit: Presidential Palace, War Remnants Museum, the colonial Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post Office. The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure to discover this bustling city at your own pace. Overnight hotel stay in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 9: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta (B/L/D)
Today, leave the bustle of the city behind for a day of exploring scenic rice fields, waterways and colorful markets of the Mekong Delta. Cruise along the Mekong tributaries to Cai Be Floating Market and visit cottage industries that make ‘pop’ rice, rice paper and coconut candies. Cruise deeper to Dong Hoa Hiep Island and discover the rural lifestyles and daily activities of the delta inhabitants. Return to Ho Chi Minh City late afternoon. Overnight at the Grand Silver Land Hotel.
Day 10: Excursion to Cu Chi Tunnels (B/L)
You will have a chance to have a fabulous excursion to the Cu Chi Tunnels where you will be fascinated by the tunnels and stories of life in the jungle. Visit a local rescue center for animals and learn about efforts to protect Vietnam’s rare wildlife. Returning to the city, you’ll zip through town by local trucks, visit hidden markets, join the locals as they light incense in the temples and enjoy a delicious barbeque dinner. Overnight at the Grand Silver Land Hotel.
Day 11-14: Mui Ne / Phan Thiet (B/L/D)
Spend the next three nights in the perfectly laid-back fishing village and serene beach town of Mui Ne.
Day 15: Phan Thiet – Ho Chi Minh City – Depart (B/-/-)
Breakfast at your resort, then transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City, departure and end of the trip.
