Glimpse of Vietnam and Cambodia in 16 Days: This trip is planned for the traveler with limited time giving you a glimpse of Vietnam and Cambodia where you will begin an 5 days exploration in Cambodia from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap to experience Angkor Wat and the Khmer Land, then, You will flight to Hanoi to explore along the length of Vietnam from the North to the South .
Day 01: PHNOM PENH ARRIVAL
Arrival in Phnom Penh and transfer to the hotel for check in, after check in, we will to visit the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda. Located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. The treasures found inside include a solid gold Buddha encrusted and weighing 90kilograms and a small 17th century emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha. We also visit Wat Phnom Temple, Phnom Penh's namesake, from where you can enjoy views over the tree-lined avenues of Phnom Penh during sunset. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 02: PHNOM PENH – SIEM REAP (B) BY PRIVATE CAR WITHOUT GUIDE
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer by private car without guide to Siem Reap, arrival in Siem Reap and transfer to visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. We take a boat trip in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia. We spend the rest of day visiting the "Chantiers Ecoles - Les Artisans d'Angkor" which provides training to young Cambodians in an effort to revive the ancient Khmer traditions of stone carving and wood sculpting. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 03: SIEM REAP TOUR (B)
Breakfast at hotel: Start your sightseeing tour of Angkor area we spend a full day exploring the wondrous ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest as well as the most complete temple of Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. We stroll around this massive edifice, seeing the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple and the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man's creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 04: SIEM REAP TO HANOI (B)
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport for flight departure to Hanoi. Upon arrival at Hanoi’s Noi Bai Airport, our guide and driver will welcome you and transfer you to hotel in Hanoi. Over night in Hanoi
DAY 05 HANOI CITY TOUR (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel, our tour guide and driver will meet you at lobby of hotel at 08:00AM for full day to explore Vietnam’s charming capital. With its wide tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and ancient oriental pagodas, Hanoi is an eclectic mix that offers something for everyone. Your city tour will take you to Hanoi’s key sites: the Ho Chi Minh Complex (Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and stilt house); the Presidential Palace; the nearby One Pillar Pagoda; the Temple of Literature; West Lake; the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda & Quan Thanh Temple; and one of the city’s museums (a choice between the History Museum and the Ethnology Museum). End of the day you can enjoy a traditional Water Puppet Performance – a unique Vietnamese art form hailing from Southeast Asia’s wet-rice culture. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 06: HANOI – HALONG BAY (B/L/D)
Our guide and shuttle bus will pick you up at lobby of hotel and start journey east to Halong Bay, through picturesque rice-farming villages of the Red River Delta, where we see everyday Vietnamese village life. On arrival, we board a beautiful traditional junk and spend a full day and night cruising the bay’s 3000 magnificent limestone islets. In the evening when the boat is anchored in the middle of the stunning lagoon, we enjoy a wonderful seafood meal and later there is opportunity for an evening swim from the side of the boat. DAY 07 : HALONG BAY – HANOI (B/L)
Rise early for a lesson in Tai Chi or just to enjoy a hearty breakfast. The boat will make its way back to the port stopping at the Cave of Surprises, full of stalagmites and stalactites. From here, it’s clear sailing back to the main harbour and the return Hanoi around 4.30pm. Drop at hotel in Hanoi. Free time on your own. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 8: HANOI FREE AND EASY AND NIGHT TRAIN TO SAPA, ONLY TRANSFER (B)
Today you are free until 8.00pm and be transferred to Hanoi Railway Station for the night train to Sapa. Overnight on a shared 4 berths cabin with A/C
DAY 9: LAO CAI – LAO CHAI – TA VAN VILLAGE (B/L/D)
Arrival at Lao Cai station at 6:00 am. Pick up at Lao Cai Station then transfer to Sapa. Have breakfast before the trip starts. Drive to Y Linh Ho and start Trekking downhill to Muong Hoa Valley through rice paddies and small hamlets to learn the life of hill tribes here. Communication exchange with local people in Lao Chai village. Cook & have lunch at local family, continuing trekking through villages and rice terraced fields to Ta Van village settled by Dzay ethnic people which is supposed to be the most beautiful one in the area. DAY 10: CAT CAT VILLAGE – NIGHT TRAIN HANOI (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel then we embark on a lovely walking tour to the hill tribe villages of Cat Cat, home to the H’mong hill tribe’s minority people. As we walk to the villages nestled in the valley below Sapa, we will meet some of the local minority people on their way and share cultural experiences with the families that live in the area. Jeep back to Sapa. Check out the hotel. Have lunch at the local rest aunt. Afternoon, Free to visit sapa town and go shopping. Dinner on guests account. DAY 11: HANOI – FLY TO HOI AN – HOI AN ECO TOUR

DAY 13: HO CHI MINH CITY + CU CHI TUNNELS (B, L)
Start our day by visiting Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office, followed by exploring the Reunification Palace, and the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum. After, we drive for 60 KM to visit the Cu Chi tunnel, the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role during the American War. There is plenty of evidence of the fierce battle that took place here during the 1960s when Cu Chi was a “Free Target Zone”. Before entering the tunnels visitors can watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. You will spend the next hour exploring the tunnels. Then return to HCMC for an overnight stay.
DAY 14: HO CHI MINH - MEKONG RUSTIC (B, L, D)
Our guide will pick you up at the center of Cai Be, you will stop to visit the Cao Dai Cai Be Temple and Cai Be Cathedral right at the town to understand more about the religious life of Mekong people.
Next, you will embark on a tourist boat to visit the inland and floating markets of Cai Be, where you will be introduced the local agricultural and marine products and buy the ingredients for your own dinner. Continuing on boat to head to Mekong Rustic in Tan Phong Island, where you will check-in your room for relaxing and having lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit local farmer’s house and talking to him to nderstand how local farmers take care for their gardens, then try plucking the fruits and tasting them and then take part in local activity of ditch fishing hook, which will
bring you a rustic and great experience especially when catching fish on river for dinner. You will be guided to prepare dinner by our Chefs in the late afternoon. Having dinner and staying overnight at Mekong Rustic homestay. You have dinner with host and enjoy local folk songs in Mekong Delta.
DAY 15: MEKONG RUSTIC – HO CHI MINH (B)
After breakfast, our guide will guide you to explore more the Tan Phong Island by bike. You will visit kinder garden. The 2nd day tour continues with a visit to local house to learn how to make jack-fruits leaf cake and stop at Bonsai Garden to communicate with them to learn how to take care Bonsai garden. After cycling back to Mekong Rustic, taking short rest and check out at about 11:00. Then the small boat will transfer you back to the tourist boat Cai Be for driving back to Ho Chi Minh City. End of the tour at 16:30 in Ho Chi Minh City.
DAY 16: HO CHI MINH DEPARTURE (B)
Depending on your flight time, you will have leisure time which is arranged by yourself for the last waking, cycling around, shopping souvenirs or handicraft products,… or having coffee as a local for the last time before we take you to the airport for your flight.
