DAY 1: Depart From Los Angeles 

Fly from North America to Cambodia, crossing the International Date Line.

DAY 2: Welcome to Cambodia – Siem Reap Arrival (D)

Upon arrival, your guide will be waiting for you with a sign with your name on it. The guide will assist you to meet up with your private driver and escort you to your hotel. Check in at the hotel and have some rest after the flight.

In the afternoon we will start our visit to the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm which is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man's creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature. Welcome dinner at the local restaurant. Early this evening, we will take the Tuk Tuk (the local transportation) to ride around the town. Welcome dinner at the local restaurant.

DAY 3: Visiting Banteay Srei And Angkor Wat (B/L)

Have breakfast at the hotel. After your private guide will meet you at the hotel lobby and you will start your visit to Banteay Srei. Banteay Srei was constructed at the late 10th century by a Brahmin counselor under a powering Rajendarvarman. It was loosely translated to the citadel of the woman, but it is a modern appellation that probably refers to the delicate beauty of the carvings. Along the way, we make a stopover at the Preah Dark village and will visit the Banteay Samre Temple adorned with impressive relief’s depicting scenes of Vishunu as well as Krishna legends.

Have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon continue visit Angkor Thom, the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, built from the late 12th century to the early 13th century by King Jayavarman VII and consists of 54 towers, the Royal Enclosure, the Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King, then visit Angkor Wat, one of the largest temples in world which covers an area of 200 hectares and surrounded by moat and an exterior wall measuring 1300 meters x 1500 meters.

DAY 4: Siem Reap To Luang Prabang (B)

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel and have a relaxing time before your private driver transfers you to the airport. Fly one way from Siem Reap, Cambodia to Luang Prabang, Laos.

Upon arrival at Luang Prabang International airport, your guide will be waiting for you with a sign with your name on it. You will be privately transferred from the Luang Prabang Airport to your hotel by a professional driver and an English-speaking guide.

DAY 5: Luang Prabang City Tour (B)

Today, you will enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city's oldest temples of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents classical Laotian architecture. Then embark on a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives a breathtaking view of the tranquil countryside as well as exploring the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by devoted pilgrims. Along the way, you will stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where the local rice wine is produced. On return, we take a short drive to another small village Ban Phanom, which famous for its hand weaving.

DAY 6: Luang Prabang Fly To Hanoi (B)

Today we visit the National Museum (closed Tuesdays) at the former Royal Palace. It displays a collection of artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through to the last sovereign. There will also be time for you to look around the Central Market. After visiting these sights in the morning, there may be free time (depending on your flight) to venture into town and stroll around the shopping area.

Then enjoy a private transfer from your hotel to the airport for your flight to Hanoi, Vietnam.

DAY 7: Hanoi – Bavi Eco Tour (B/L)

Have breakfast at the hotel then you will be escorted by an experienced English-speaking guide and private vehicle to Ba Vi, a countryside located at the outskirt of Hanoi. The approximate travel time is one hour and 30 minutes.

Then arriving at Mr. Duoc’s house, you will be welcomed with fresh honey tea and green lentils or lotus seeds that made by his family.  Imagine a Vietnam in the old time of war through stories of Mr. Duoc, who is not only a veteran who lives during those hard times but also a green tea expert. You will visit his tea plantation which is one of the largest in Ri village and join with locals in green tea processing. Afterward, have a Vietnamese cooking demonstration with another local host and then enjoy a home-cooked lunch in a lovely garden.

After that, you will wander around the village and mingling with local people. You will visit the local craftsman who has been skilled at making conical hats from a very young age and other workshops in the village to see how people there make tofu or shell the rice.  As you meander through the countryside you will experience the friendliness of the local people greeting you along the way. Then join your guides for a leisurely cycling trip along the country roads. Observe traditional Vietnamese rural life as the local people work in the paddy fields. Along the way, watch out for a water buffalo plowing a paddy field while ducks swim across the top. Stop at another host family for foot bathing following the recipes of Muong ethnic group and relaxing time before embarking on your private boat for a trip along the Da river.

Later, enjoy a private transfer between Ba Vi to your accommodation in Hanoi.

DAY 8: Hoa Lu – Tam Coc, Ninh Binh (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, an English–speaking guide will meet you at the hotel at between 8 am and 8.30 am. You will be privately transferred by a professional driver from Hanoi to Hoa Lu, which is located 80km to the South of Hanoi. This is the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th century and your guide will tell you all about the history of Le and Dinh Dynasties, who ruled this antique citadel.

Enjoy a Vietnamese traditional lunch before boarding into a private sampan to visit Tam Coc, well-known as “Halong Bay inland” and see the beauty of the karst formations as you pass along their base and row into one of the many caves carved through the limestone. You will then continue with a private cycling tour through the stunning scenery of rice fields, karst formations, river and tranquil village (around 5km).

In the evening, return to Hanoi and enjoy a lovely night on your own.

DAY 9: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B/L/D)

At around 9 - 9.30 am, You will be transferred from Hanoi to Hai Phong. Approximate travel time is three hours.

Embark on your luxurious craft, Era Cruise and you will be welcomed aboard and greeted with a complimentary drink, followed by an introduction.  Boarding time is approximately from 12 pm to 12.15 pm.

In the afternoon, we will set sail for Lan Ha Bay (part of Halong Bay), passing Da Chong Islet where you can see an ancient lighthouse built by the French over a century ago. Sail among the craggy islands, stunning pristine, and limestone outcrops for which this bay is famed. You can explore Ba Trai Dao beach via kayaks or immerse yourself in the crystal clear waters. Back to your lavish liner and cruise to enjoy happy hour on board or take part in a Vietnamese cooking demonstration. Refuel with a delicious and unique signature dinner in cruise’s distinctive restaurant.

Relaxing time with an exotic cocktail drink in the evening landscape, you can order an indulgent spa service, watch movies, go squid fishing or simply relax on our rooftop deck under the cover of a brightly illuminated sky.

DAY 10: Halong Bay - Hanoi (B/L)

In the early morning, enjoy a Tai Chi sessions on the sundeck or relax with an early morning cup of tea, coffee or juice to watch the stunning scenery unfold before you. After that, a light breakfast will be served on board. Upon completing breakfast, continue your journey through the mysterious caves and amongst the remote islets via local rowing boats. The breath-taking beauty of this World Heritage region will certainly impress you. Later in the morning, return to your main ship where brunch will be served while cruise draws closer to the mainland.

Upon your arrival to the Era Cruise dock in Halong Bay, disembark from your ship and you will be privately transferred back to Hanoi by a luxury van.

DAY 11: Time To Say Goodbye – Hanoi Departure (B)

  • 31 days and more before departure: 10% of the full payment + airfare cancellation fees (if any).
  • 15-30 days before departure: 30% of the full payment + airfare cancellation fees (if any).
  • 14 days and less before departure: 100% of the full payment.
  • No-show travelers will be charged 100% of the full payment
