DAY 1: DEPART FROM SYDNEY/MELBOURNE
Fly from Australia to Vietnam, crossing the International Date Line.
DAY 2: WELCOME TO VIETNAM - HANOI ARRIVAL
Upon arrival, your driver will meet and greet you at the airport. Enjoy a transfer from the airport to your accommodation. Check in at the hotel and have a rest after the flight.
You can mooch through the streets of the city. Historic charm, architectural marvels, and products’ variety are splashed all over this area.

DAY 3: HANOI CITY TOUR (B/L)
The colonial capital city Hanoi is a unique Asian city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and oriental pagodas and temples dating back a thousand years ago. AM: 7.45 – 8.15: Free pick up at your hotel. Then visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to explore the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts and lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda, which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 - the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. Then continue on to the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda at West lake (In the pagoda’s garden stands a Bồ Đề (Bodhi) tree, which is attached to a past story. In 1959, on one visit to Vietnam, Indian Prime Minister Razendia Prasat offered the Pagoda a bodhi tree as a gift. The plant was grafted from the holy bodhi tree where Sakyamuni sat in zen (meditation) position and achieved enlightenment in India 25 centuries ago) Lunch at local restaurant. PM: After lunch proceed to visit the Ethnology Museum (apply on Sun, Tue, Thu & Sat), the Literature Temple, see Vietnam’s first university, constructed in 1070 - it’s gardens and well-preserved architecture will offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. Take you past Hoan Kiem Lake to see the peaceful waters and the beauty of Ngoc Son temple. At the end of the journey through Hanoi’s Old Quarter, where you’ll then have a chance for some shopping and exploration.

DAY 4: HANOI – HOA LU – TAM COC (B/L)
After breakfast at the hotel, an English–speaking guide will meet you at the hotel at between 8 am and 8.30 am. You will be transferred by a professional driver from Hanoi to Hoa Lu, which is located 80km to the South of Hanoi. This is the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th century and your guide will tell you all about the history of Le and Dinh Dynasties, who ruled this antique citadel.
Enjoy a Vietnamese traditional lunch before boarding into a private sampan to visit Tam Coc, well-known as “Halong Bay inland” and see the beauty of the karst formations as you pass along their base and row into one of the many caves carved through the limestone. You will then continue with a cycling tour through the stunning scenery of rice fields, karst formations, river and tranquil village (around 5km).
In the evening, return to Hanoi and enjoy a lovely night on your own.

DAY 5: HANOI – HALONG BAY – SHARING CRUISE (B/L/D)
In the morning, after breakfast at the hotel, the Cruise team will pick you up. Take the most scenic route to reach Halong Bay, taking you across the Red River Delta with emerald green rice paddies stretching for as far as the eyes can see. On arrival to Halong, you will enjoy a cruise on the Bay and explore the limestone rocks and the karst grottoes.
After you are done with your exploration of the bay, it is time to enjoy an utterly delicious seafood lunch, after which there will be a trip to the famous limestone cave in Ha Long bay, you’ll get to spend some time here, kayaking or swimming, so that you can get closer to the floating villages and shops. Towards the evening, you will return to the boat for an early dinner, followed by some time at leisure. You can optionally attend the activities taking part on the boat or just relax.

DAY 6: HALONG BAY – HANOI (B/L) – FLY TO HOI AN
Rise early for a Tai Chi lesson or just to enjoy a hearty breakfast. The boat will make its way back to the port stopping at the Limestone Cave, full of stalagmites and stalactites. From here, it’s clear sailing back to the main harbor and transfer to Noi Bai Airport for flight to Hoi An.

DAY 7: HOI AN ECO TOUR (B/L) – HALF DAY
Today your English-speaking guide will meet you at the hotel and take you to a tour of the countryside and rivers around Hoi An. As you meander through the countryside you will experience the friendliness of the local people greeting you along the way. After that, you will board the Hoi An Eco-tour boat for a river cruise to meet and engage with local fishermen. Enjoy a hands-on experience of traditional net fishing. You will also take a paddleboat trip in a unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat down the waterways of a coconut palm paradise.
In the afternoon, leisure time on your own exploring the ancient town or relaxing at the hotel.

DAY 8: HOI AN TO HUE (B) – SHARING BUS
Today you will be transferred by public bus to Hue, Vietnam’s former capital, which sits on the Perfume River. On arrival in Hue you will transfer to your hotel.

DAY 9: HUE FLY TO HO CHI MINH CITY (B)
Have breakfast at hotel and have some free time untill you will be transferred to the airport for your next flight to Ho Chi Minh city – the gem of Indochina. You have your own leisure time there.

DAY 10: HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG DELTA (B/L/D)
You will be transfer from Ho Chi Minh City downtown to Cai Be district in the morning. Arriving in Cai Be, you will be welcomed by the hospitable smile of the host and invited some fresh fruits before embarking on boat to visit Cai Be Floating Market and traditional handicraft villages. You’ll have an opportunity to talk to the sellers on their boats. The boat will then lead you to the home-stay on Tan Phong Island for checking-in and having lunch. In the afternoon, local host will lead you to his orchards where you can learn how to take care for the garden and how to pluck the ripen fruits as the host does every day. In the late afternoon, you will visit the vegetable garden and gather the vegetables for your dinner. You will prepare your own dinner with the help of local host.

DAY 11: MEKONG DELTA – HO CHI MINH CITY (B/L)
Wake up in the early morning to enjoy the fresh air of Mekong region and then take a stroll around the home-stay, your 2nd day of the tour in the Mekong will start. Come back to the home-stay where the delicious breakfast is waiting for you. After breakfast time, You will visit kindergarten if it is school day. Stop at a local farmer’s house to learn how to make Jackfruit leaves cake and then cycle to Bonsai garden and talk to local farmers to understand how they take care for their gardens, then try pluck the fruits and taste them. Afterwards, we will return to the home-stay for check-out. At 11:00, the small boat will transfer you back to the Cai Be tourist boat wharf and you will drive to Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 12: BIGGEST FAREWELL AND WARMEST TO GOODBYE – HO CHI MINH DEPARTURE (B)
Relish a healthy breakfast on the final day of your trip. Complete the hotel check-out formalities after which you can visit the local markets and buy souvenirs for your loved ones. Later, proceed for departure and board your flight back home.

- All flight tickets for set departure date must be booked 60 days in advance. After 60 days of departure, a surcharge will be applied.
- Some flights may depart a day before/after, involve up to 2 transits, stopovers or a substitute airline. Such changes are beyond our control, as availability on flights can vary.
- Once your flights are confirmed and ticketed, flights are non-refundable and non-changeable. Full names (First, Middle & Surname) as per passport must be provided for ticketing.
- Please Note, flight itineraries will not be provided until 30 days prior to departure. If your travel dates are within 30 days of purchase you will be provided with your itinerary within 7 days.

S Viet Travel must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive advice in writing and cancellation charges would apply as follows:
- 31 days and more before departure: 10% of the full payment + airfare cancellation fees (if any).
- 15-30 days before departure: 30% of the full payment + airfare cancellation fees (if any).
- 14 days and less before departure: 100% of the full payment.
- No-show travelers will be charged 100% of the full payment

- S Viet Travel demands that all clients going on our trips hold a proper personal medical insurance. If clients do not hold insurances and refuse to sign on before departure, S Viet Travel reserves the right not to carry out the trip.

- Price based on twin sharing. Single supplement surcharge AUD 389 pp for 3 stars hotel AUD 545 pp for 4-star hotel, AUD 1211 pp for 5-star hotel.
- Any un-utilized services, unused tours or hotel rooms are non-refundable
- Any amendment/cancellation made after a confirmed booking is nonrefundable
